Become a Lake Steward
The LOLA Stewardship program is an opportunity for you to go above and beyond for the lake you love. By making a donation of $135, you become a lake steward. Your donation allows LOLA to focus on mission related efforts, instead of worrying about fundraising. Your generous contribution helps fund these important projects:
* Training of volunteers to become part of the Invasive Plant Patrol team who survey the lake annually.
* Supporting the partnership between LOLA, the
Lake Stewards of Maine, and the
YCSWCD
(York County Soil and Water Conservation District).
* Purchasing buoys for boating safety.
* Funding, in partnership with the town, the boat ramp inspection program.
* Educating members of the lake community on best practices for caring for the
health of the lake.
